AMAZON RIVERBOAT

6D ADVENTURE PACKAGE

A highlight for every visitor to the mighty Amazon is an Amazon river trip. Due to the truly unique location of Amazonat Jungle Lodge we are able to show guests two different water worlds in one river.

small boat.jpg (19409 bytes)The northern riverbank, black due to the discharge of the Urubú River, has an abundance of birds in a mosquito-free, surrealistic landscape. We will observe Victoria Regia, the giant waterlily, which is growing here in large numbers. While crossing the huge river, the visitor will witness a second phenomena of black water running side by side with the muddy Amazon river flow, where we will see many dolphins including the famous pink Amazon dolphins. Once on the other side, the south bank, one can take notice of the very rich Varzeas, with the presence of wildlife, thousands of egrets and other exotic birds, huge alligators and an incredible variety of fish.
